black stuff

ok, i got asked a few times, why i often use black backgrounds in my pictures, or why the photos are very dark or if i am depressed or a negative person. but for me it´s quite often all about the object in the picture itself. i want to maximize the focus toward the thing i am photographing instead of the surroundings and i like to keep things simple within the photo structure.
-i know i could easily use white backdrops aswell, but for me they are a little more difficult to deal with at the moment - sounds stupid, but thats the fact. maybe that will change during my apprenticeship and so far, i am not a negative person or suffer from depression :-P
